Innovation Readiness Series

The MTIP Innovation Readiness Series is a collection of workshops that will teach you how to tackle market research for high-tech innovations and how to prepare well-crafted and persuasive SBIR/STTR proposals.

NIH SBIR/STTR Proposal Writing Bootcamp

In February 2020, we will offer a 3 week, 6 class NIH Phase I proposal preparation bootcamp led by Christie Bell. This course is designed for researchers and small businesses actively planning to submit on or after April 6, 2020. Participants will be instructed on all aspects of preparing a competitive NIH Phase I proposal and should have a strong draft prepared by the end of the course. Follow on counseling and proposal reviews will be provided by MTIP consultants and partners.

Market Research for early-stage technology researchers and inventors

Our half-day market research workshops are led by Ed Kase. These workshops help early-stage technology researchers prepare and validate a strong business case for their innovation in preparation to submit competitive proposals for federal funding like the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

SBIR/STTR Phase I and Phase II proposal writing

Our full-day SBIR/STTR proposal writing workshops are presented by Jim Greenwood and teach skills appropriate for all agencies, including the Department of Defense, Energy, National Institutes of Health, NASA, or the National Science Foundation.

Coming in 2020

Our spring 2020 Innovation Readiness Series will include a workshop on preparing SBIR/STTR cost proposals.
